COMPLEMENTARY COLOURS
Complementary colours are diagonally opposite one another on the wheel. For this reason they are called also ‘opposite’ colours.
When placed next to each other, they create a strong contrast and stand out against each other.
You can obtain the complementary colour to any primary colour by mixing together the other two primary colours.
